To zoom in by drawing a widow on the map, select this button. To draw a box on the map, click the left mouse button and hold it while dragging a bounding box. Let go of the left mouse button to start the zoom. The map will be replaced with the area covered by your window. To zoom in, select this button. Then click on the map using the left mouse button. The map will zoom in and be centered on the point that you clicked. To zoom out, select this button. Then click on the map using the left mouse button. The map will zoom out and be centered on the point that you clicked. To recenter the map, select this button. Then click on the map using the left mouse button. The map will have a new center point at the point that you clicked

Displays the limits of the paper charts published by the Canadian Hydrographic Service and allows user to query the information on each limit. Covers waters used primarily by commercial navigation. Paper charts are hand-amended up to the date of distribution by CHS to the dealers or directly to the mariners. All changes are advertised in the Canadian monthly edition of Notices to Mariners.
Display Metadata
Manage the main data layers here. Turn on a layer on or off by clicking the checkbox and clicking the refresh map button. Get information on a map feature by clicking the i button beside the layer and clicking the feature on the map. If a layer is greyed out, it is not available at that scale. Manage the base map data layers here. Turn on a layer on or off by clicking the checkbox and clicking the refresh map button.. Get information on a map feature by clicking the i button beside the layer and clicking the feature on the map. If a layer is greyed out, it is not available at that scale. Generate reports for all of the features visible on the map. To get a feature report, check the layer(s) of interest and then click the generate report button. You will get an html report of the attribute values for the feature. Click the CSV link to save the file in EXCEL format. Filters are used to limit the number of features on the map. Click add to get a dialog to assist you in creating a filter. More details are found on the filter page.
