Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program - RRAP for Homeowners

The Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program – RRAP for Homeowners provides funding to low-income persons who own and occupy substandard housing so that they can repair the housing to ensure that it meets the minimum federal health and safety standards.

Eligibility Information

  • Dwellings must be at least five years old and lack basic facilities or require major repairs in one or more of the following categories: electrical, fire safety, heating, plumbing or structural.
  • The value of the dwelling must be below a specified amount.
  • The household income must be at or below an established limit based on household size and location.
  • Other criteria may apply.
