Training in Simulation Software and Energy Design Practices for New Buildings

Training activities for energy-efficient new buildings include training on Natural Resources Canada's (NRCan) simulation software as well as the promotion of energy efficiency and green building training developed by other stakeholder organizations.

Coaching is also provided to support the simulation process. The Office of Energy Efficiency provides up to $1,000-worth of assistance from NRCan to support EE4 simulation and queries related to the Model National Energy Code for Buildings (MNECB). To request this help, please complete and submit the Technical Assistance Form. Simulators receive feedback in the form of reviewer comments on building models submitted to NRCan's validation process.
