Canadian Cities Earn Top 3 Spots for Business
June 29, 2006

The Economist has developed the "business-trip index", ranking 127 cities worldwide for business travel. Vancouver earned the number 1 spot, ahead of Calgary and Toronto. Montréal came in at number 10.

Canada's solid rankings are attributed to its "highly developed transport and communication infrastructure", its vast wilderness and cultural diversity. All this combined with reasonable rates makes Canada a favorite among business travelers.

The original article can be found in Issue 20 of The Economist (2005).
