Comments: Lightning executive vice president and general manager Jay Feaster said that the MRI on Boyle's surgically repaired left wrist showed that two of the three tendons, severed in the preseason, have not properly healed. According to a release on the team's official Web site, additional surgery will also be required, and as a result, the Lightning placed Boyle on the injured reserve, retroactive to his last game on Nov. 3.
