Royals send Christensen to Detroit to complete trade

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) The Kansas City Royals sent pitcher Danny Christensen to Detroit on Tuesday to complete the trade that brought right-hander Roman Colon to Kansas City in midseason.

The Tigers got a player to be named for Colon on July 13. Christensen, a 24-year-old lefty, was 2-15 with a 6.21 ERA in 27 games for Double-A Wichita.

Kansas City also reinstated Colon, right-handers Luke Hudson and Joe Nelson, and infielders Angel Sanchez and Ryan Shealy from the 60-day disabled list. (Full Story)
