Help with using this Site

Navigation

The web site has a site map showing all the pages, that shows the structure of this site, explaining the principal divisions into which information is divided. This may be helpful in getting quickly to where you want to go.

Content

All information on this site is in HTML and is accessible with any standard web browser. Certain forms and manuals are available as hardcopy and are also provided in a variety of formats for downloading. Formats used are:

  • Rich Text Format (RTF)
  • ASCII text (TXT)
  • Postscript (PS or EPS)
  • Portable Document Format (PDF)

Rich text, ascii and postscript can be opened using a wide variety of commercially available software. PDF files can be opened using Acrobat reader, which can be downloaded for free from Adobe's web site.

Accessibility

This web site has been designed with a view to making the information accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities who use adaptive technologies to receive and disseminate information. We encourage accessible Internet site development and maintenance and invite your comments and suggestions for improvement of the accessibility of this site. Contact us with all your ideas and suggestions.

Access Keys
The following 3 Access Keys have been enabled mainly for use with Screen Readers and PDAs:

Access Key M - brings you to the start of the common menu bar (tab once to go to the French Language button, tab twice to go to the "Contact Us" button, etc.).

Access Key 1 - skips the common menu bar and brings you to the sub-navigation links (these links are more specific to the Web page you are on).

Access Key 2 - skips all menus and takes you directly to the content of the page.

Please note that how the Access Keys work differs between browsers, as well as which keys are used depends on the platform. For example, Internet Explorer uses "ALT" M - since "ALT" is a Microsoft standard for Access Keys, another platform may use a different key altogether.
