11/14/2007 In his return to New Jersey, Gomez provided two assists to help the Rangers beat the New Jersey Devils, 4-2, on Wednesday night. Gomez has at least one point in all seven of his games in November, totaling two goals and seven assists. The center has four goals and eight assists for 12 points in 18 games this season for the Rangers, who signed him to a seven-year, $51.5 million deal.
11/9/2007 Gomez had his first multipoint game since joining the Rangers as they beat the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins, 4-2, on Thursday night. He had a goal and an assist in the win. Gomez extended his points streak to five games, a span in which he has two goals and four assists. The center has four goals and five assists for nine points in 16 games for the Rangers, who signed the center to a seven-year, $51.5 million deal in July.
10/13/2007 Gomez scored the first of the Rangers' three man-advantage goals in the first period - all set up in part by captain Jaromir Jagr - and the home team went on to hand the Capitals a 3-1 loss on Friday night. It was the center's first point with his new club. Gomez signed a seven-year, $51.5 million deal with the Rangers in July after spending the first seven seasons of his NHL career with New Jersey.
