11/11/2007 Gerber's win streak reached seven games when he stopped 28 of 29 shots as the host Senators beat the Montreal Canadiens, 3-1, on Saturday. Gerber has allowed one goal in each of his last three and four of his final five appearances. In this seven-game run, which started on Oct. 13, Gerber has a 1.41 goals-against average and .950 save percentage. Ray Emery started the Senators' previous game, a 4-1 loss to Washington on Nov. 8.
11/7/2007 Gerber stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced to give the host Senators a 5-1 victory over Toronto on Tuesday. It was the goaltender's sixth straight win to improve him to 10-1-0 with a 1.80 goals-against average and .941 save percentage in 11 starts this season. He leads the NHL with 10 victories. Gerber has three wins this season and four straight overall versus Toronto since last Oct. 24, improving him to 6-3-0 with a 2.84 GAA in nine starts against them.
11/5/2007 Gerber recorded his NHL-leading ninth win of the season when he stopped both of the shootout attempts he faced after making 21 saves as the visiting Senators beat the Boston Bruins, 2-1, on Sunday. The victory completed a sweep of a home-and-home set. The win was Gerber's fifth straight, improving his record to 9-1-0 with a 1.88 goals-against average and .938 save percentage in 10 starts.
11/4/2007 Gerber stopped 17 of 19 shots for his fourth straight win as he helped the host Senators to a 3-2 victory over Boston. The goaltender - who beat New Jersey on Saturday in his last start - posted his NHL-leading eighth win and is now 8-1-0 with a 1.99 goals-against average and .937 save percentage in nine starts this season. 10/18/2007 Gerber is expected to start Thursday against Montreal, according to the Ottawa Sun. Despite the fact that No. 1 goaltender Ray Emery has recovered from offseason wrist surgery, coach John Paddock said he would go with Gerber, who has been playing well so far. Gerber is 5-1-0 with a 1.99 goals-against average and .941 save percentage in six starts this season, falling only in last Thursday's home game against Carolina.

10/12/2007 Gerber suffered his first loss of the season after he allowed four goals in the host Senators' 5-3 defeat to Carolina on Thursday. The goaltender last allowed four goals in a loss at Columbus on Dec. 10, and this defeat dropped him to 4-1-0 with a 2.18 goals-against average and .934 save percentage in five starts this season. Gerber is now 5-2-0 with a 1.86 GAA and .934 save percentage in seven career starts against the Hurricanes.

Gerber improved to 4-3-0 with a 3.26 goals-against average in seven starts against Toronto. Gerber was 15-9-3 with a 2.78 GAA and .906 save percentage in 29 apppearances last season. Gerber will remain the Senators' best option untl Emery returns.
