Gilbert Arenas' left knee appears to be improving each day. The Washington Wizards are getting better along with their recovering star.
The Wizards will try to win their third game in a row after losing their first five when they go on the road Friday night to face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Arenas, who has had his knee drained of fluid twice in the past month following offseason surgery, underwent an MRI exam Monday, one day after Washington's first win of the season. The test revealed no further damage and on Wednesday, Arenas played one of his best games of the season, finishing with 30 points, a season-high 11 assists and six rebounds in the Wizards' 103-90 win over Indiana.
