11/14/2007 Osgood stopped all four of the shots he faced after he replaced Dominik Hasek, but the Red Wings lost, 4-3, on Tuesday at St. Louis. Hasek was pulled after he gave up four goals on 12 shots in 35 minutes, 51 seconds. Osgood played 23:55. In 24 career appearances as a replacement, Osgood is 7-4-0 with a 2.12 goals-against average and .913 save percentage.
11/12/2007 Osgood lost for the first time this season when he allowed three goals on 27 shots in the visiting Red Wings' 3-2 defeat on Sunday at Chicago. The Red Wings missed a chance to set a franchise record with a 10th straight victory. Osgood fell to 8-1-0 with a 1.66 goals-against average and .930 save percentage in nine appearances this season. Among goaltenders with one loss or fewer, only Ottawa's Martin Gerber (11-1-0) has more wins than Osgood.
11/8/2007 Osgood remained unbeaten this season, stopping 28 of 30 shots and both shootout attempts as the host Red Wings beat Nashville, 3-2, on Wednesday. The goaltender improved to 8-0-0 with a 1.49 goals-against average and .936 save percentage in his eight starts for the Red Wings. He is 1-0 this season and 4-3 for his career in shootouts. Osgood is third in the NHL with a 1.48 GAA, trailing Columbus' Pascal Leclaire (1.12) and Nashville's Dan Ellis (1.35).

The goaltender, who is starting in place of the injured Dominik Hasek (sore hip), improved to 4-0-0 with a 1.50 goals-against average and .929 save percentage in four starts this season. 10/19/2007 Osgood won his third straight start, and the visiting Red Wings defeated San Jose, 4-2, on Thursday. The goaltender, who made 23 saves in the victory, last started 3-0 in the 2001-02 season while he was with the New York Islanders. He has his first three-game win streak since April 3-15, 2006. Osgood improved to 15-8-0 with one tie and a 2.67 goals-against average in 25 appearances against the Sharks. He has posted a 1.67 GAA and a .932 save percentage this season.
10/18/2007 Osgood is expected to start Thursday against San Jose, according to The Detroit News. Coach Mike Babcock said the goaltender is "playing good, it's simple." Osgood has won both of his starts this year, and his most recent win - a 4-1 defeat of Los Angeles on Sunday - was the 600th of his NHL career. Osgood is 14-8-0 with a tie and a 2.70 goals-against average in 24 appearances against the Sharks. He is 5-5-0 with a 3.83 GAA in 11 appearances in San Jose.

This was Osgood's second start of the season and the 600th of his NHL career. He's appeared in 623 games.
