11/3/2007 Ellis stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced to lead the visiting Predators to a 4-1 victory over Edmonton on Friday. It was the goaltender's fourth straight victory and his second consecutive road win, as well. He is 4-0-0 with a 1.35 goals-against average and .952 save percentage in seven appearances - including four starts - this season. The 27-year-old Ellis signed with Nashville as a free agent in July.
11/2/2007 Ellis made 29 saves for his second career shutout as the visiting Predators topped Vancouver, 3-0, on Thursday. The goaltender, making his first road start after winning both his home games last week, improved to 3-0-0 with a 1.44 goals-against average and .947 save percentage in six appearances - three starts - this season. He signed with Nashville as a free agent in July.
10/28/2007 Ellis posted his second straight victory of the season, helping the host Predators to a 4-3 win over Florida on Saturday. The goaltender was coming off a shutout of the Atlanta Thrashers on Thursday. Ellis improved to 2-0-0 with a 1.89 goals-against average and .929 save percentage in five appearances - two starts - this season. He signed with Nashville as a free agent in July.
10/26/2007 Ellis stopped 20 shots for his first career shutout, helping the host Predators to a 3-0 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers on Thursday night. The goaltender was making his first NHL start since a win at Los Angeles on Feb. 18, 2004 while with Dallas. Ellis also earned his first win of the season as he improved to 1-0-0 with a 1.38 goals-against average and .948 save percentage in four appearances for the Predators. He signed with them as a free agent in July.
10/14/2007 Ellis stopped six of seven shots in the host Predators' 7-4 loss to Calgary on Saturday. The 27-year-old goaltender played the final 12:23 of the game in place of starter Chris Mason. Ellis, who made his third NHL appearance and second of the season, has posted a 1.46 goals-against average.
10/11/2007 Ellis made 14 saves for the visiting Predators in their 4-1 loss to St. Louis on Wednesday. The goaltender replaced starter Chris Mason, who allowed all four Blues' goals in the first 30 minutes of the game. Ellis made his second career appearance, and first since his lone NHL start in goal on Feb. 8, 2004, a victory while with the Dallas Stars.
