11/14/2007 Nabokov recorded his second shutout of the season -- the 36th of his career -- when he made 25 saves in the Sharks' 5-0 home win over the Phoenix Coyotes on Monday night. His other shutout on the season took place when he made 22 stops in a 3-0 home victory over the Nashville Predators on Oct. 22. Nabokov is 3-1-1 with a 1.39 goals-against average and .937 save percentage in his last five games.
11/12/2007 Nabokov stopped 22 of 23 shots to help the host Sharks beat the Phoenix Coyotes, 4-1, on Saturday. Nabokov, who had lost each of his previous two starts, has surrendered fewer than four goals in each of his last four appearances. He is 8-7-2 with a 2.28 goals-against average and .904 save percentage in 17 starts this season.
11/10/2007 Nabokov stopped only one of the three shootout attempts he faced as the visiting Sharks lost, 3-2, on Friday night at Anaheim. The Sharks missed both of their chances in the shootout. Nabokov is 4-1-1 with a 2.23 goals-against average and .902 save percentage in six road starts this season. He went 11-10-1 with a 2.59 GAA and .908 save percentage in 25 road outings last season, only winning three straight as a visitor from March 2-15.
10/21/2007 Nabokov made 22 saves for his 35th career shutout and his first of this season as the host Sharks defeated Nashville, 3-0, on Saturday. The goaltender last shut out an opponent when he blanked Edmonton on March 11. Nabokov, who last shut out the Predators on Feb. 16, 2001, improved to 8-7-1 with two ties and a 2.10 goals-against average in 20 career appearances against them. 10/15/2007 Nabokov made 18 saves, but allowed the game-winning goal with 12 seconds left in the third period that gave the Sharks a 2-1 loss to Boston in their home opener on Saturday. The goaltender, who was coming off a win at Chicago on Wednesday, had not lost a home-opening game since an Oct. 4, 2001 defeat to Detroit. Nabokov fell to 2-3-0 with a 2.62 goals-against average and .901 save percentage in his five starts against the Bruins.

10/5/2007 Nabokov stopped 23 of 25 shots, but he could only thwart half of the four shootout attempts he faced as the visiting Sharks fell, 3-2, on Thursday night in a season-opener at Edmonton. It was Nabokov's first appearance since the Sharks dealt Vesa Toskala on the day of the NHL draft. Nabokov is 2-6 in his career on shootouts, going 2-1 last season.
