The 14th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) will take place on June 3-15, 2007, in The Hague, Netherlands.
According to Canadian policy, the public is invited to consult with federal and provincial CITES Authorities on the development of Canadian proposals for the upcoming CoP in 2007. The deadline for submitting proposals for consideration was September 11, 2006.
Please note that one proposal was received and subsequently withdrawn.
