The Aboriginal Capacity Building Fund is designed to help Aboriginal organizations and communities across Canada build capacity to enable them to participate actively in the conservation and recovery of species protected under the Species at Risk Act and species at risk designated by the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada. The objective of the Aboriginal Critical Habitat Protection Fund is to protect and recover the critical habitat of species at risk on Aboriginal lands.
The Atlantic Coastal Action Program is a community-based program that relies on local involvement and support. It involves 16 sites across Atlantic Canada -- two in Newfoundland, two in Labrador, two in Prince Edward Island, five in Nova Scotia, and five in New Brunswick.

The EcoAction Community Funding Program provides financial support to community groups for projects that have measurable, positive impacts on the environment. The Environmental Damages Fund is a special holding or trust account to manage funds received as compensation for environmental damage. These funds may come from court orders, awards, out-of-court settlements and voluntary awards.
Environment Canada, Canada Economic Development, the National Research Council of Canada, Industry Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency and Natural Resources Canada offer technical and financial support programs to Quebec companies working to develop and market innovative environment related technologies and products.
The Partnership Fund is Environment Canada's primary Georgia Basin Action Plan tool to fund projects that support partnership opportunities.
