Issue:
Britax Safety Inc. and Transport Canada wish to inform the public of an error
in the English instruction manual provided with the Roundabout infant/child seat
produced between November 16, 2006 and February 23, 2007, inclusively. The
instruction manuals provided with the seats are assigned part number P276300,
revision numbers R1: 10/06 through R2: 12.06. The part number is located at the
bottom of the Table of Contents page.
The instruction manual refers to the minimum weight for usage as 2.26 kg
(5 lb). The manual should read “from birth”. The labelling on the restraint
system is correct.
The instruction manual has been revised and the problem corrected. The French
version of the manual is correct.
Britax Safety Inc. and Transport Canada wish to inform all parents and
caregivers of the error so as to eliminate any possibility of confusion when
following the installation instructions.
