![]() Research“The activity of Product Design and Development (PD&D) is defined as the design of all the goods and services that compose the process through which a good or a service is created. It incorporates not only the design of the product itself, but also the design of new technologies used in the manufacturing processes. This project will develop the understanding of product and design development (PD&D) activities. It will quantify and compare PD&D activity by sub-sector and analyze the recent and prospective trends in Canada and the United States. It will provide key performance indicators, as well as best in class analyses that will both serve a benchmarking tools for firms and as for policy development.” |
