Distribution and Delivery to Parliament Hill

When planning the delivery of materials for distribution on Parliament Hill (such as kits in support of a bill being tabled in the House of Commons), there are basic procedures to follow and key points to remember.

If you are planning to deliver materials for distribution to MPs and senators, you must first alert the Statistical Enquiry Officer at the House of Commons at 613-995-1909.

You will also need to provide detailed instructions to your printer for packaging and labelling — use one of the templates below.

If you require a current list of mailing addresses and names of MPs and senators, contact the Information for the Public about Parliament section of the Library of Parliament at 613-992-4793 or 1-866-599-4999.

Bill kits and similar materials are often distributed in generic Government of Canada kit folders. To obtain the necessary quantities for your distribution, contact Industry Canada's Shipping and Receiving section at 613-954-2818.

You may request extra print copies of numbered or unnumbered bills by providing departmental financial information. For all printing requests via the Queen's Printer, you must contact the Bills Printing Services at 613-996-0177.
