The Canadian Biotechnology Advisory Committee (CBAC) releases a memorandum conveying its views about BioPromise? Biotechnology, Sustainable Development and Canada’s Future Economy. The report, released in October 2006, was prepared by an expert working party commissioned by CBAC to undertake a comprehensive examination of the contribution biotechnology can make to the quality of Canada’s environment and the competitiveness of its economy.
