During the peak season (mid-May to late September), treat yourself to Totem class aboard the Skeena between Jasper, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, and Prince Rupert, in the northwestern coast of B.C. Discover northern British Columbia - its fabulous fauna and flora, its rich and colourful First Nations' culture and its breathtaking landscapes.
In Totem class, you enjoy exclusive access to the Park car and its domed observatory. Take a seat in this upper deck to enjoy 360-degree views of the Rocky Mountains, crystal blue lakes, rushing rivers, lush forests, quaint villages and abundant wildlife indigenous to the region. Downstairs, in the congenial Bullet Lounge, you'll be able to share the pleasures of this trip with travellers from all over the world.
And thanks to an overnight layover in Prince George - don't forget to book a hotel room! - you'll arrive on the Pacific Coast feeling refreshed.
Travel in Totem Deluxe class during the peak season, comfortably settled in a reserved spacious seat in our Panorama car. These cars are fully glass enclosed for maximum viewing, providing an unbeatable view of the passing scenery. In addition, you will also have access to the Park Car.
Superb meals are included in your Totem or Totem Deluxe ticket price and are served at your seat: continental breakfast, cold plate lunch, hot dinner with wine.
In the peak season, take advantage of the baggage car and check all baggage that you don't need during the journey. You can check up to six articles, three free of charge.
During the off-peak season, from October to mid-May, the train has no baggage car, and so checked baggage service is not available. We recommend that you restrict yourself to one or two items of carry-on baggage. Follow this link for information on carry on baggage.
Alcohol service is governed by provincial laws. As such, the times at which alcohol is served depends on the province in which the train is travelling. Under these laws, you cannot consume alcohol that was not purchased on board.
The Skeena offers an entirely smoke-free experience. Our non-smoking policy extends to all cars, vestibules, washrooms, lounges and private spaces.

policy on smoking.
Comfort class (economy) is available year-round. During the off-peak season (when Totem and Totem Deluxe classes are not offered), Comfort class passengers have access to the Park car and its observation dome. Comfort class fares do not include meals. Smoking is also prohibited in Comfort class cars.
Your 2007 Totem class ticket will cost you only $599 for the entire two-day trip from Jasper to Prince Rupert, and $649 in Totem Deluxe class. In both cases, all your meals on board are included.
You may also choose to travel just the Jasper - Prince George or the Prince George - Prince Rupert segment of the journey. Each segment costs $335 in Totem class and $360 in Totem Deluxe class. In both classes, you'll be sitting pretty and enjoying the unique style and hospitality of Comfort, Totem or Totem Deluxe classes aboard the Skeena.
