Unforgettable Atlantic Canada vacations !
East of the Province of Québec, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, discover the magic and splendour of the Maritime Provinces!
From the moment you step out of a Nova Scotia or New Brunswick train station, discover unique Canadian cultures and historic communities. Maritimers are also known for their unmatched hospitality and friendly attitudes, so don't be afraid to ask for some advice if you can't decide what to do while on your tour!
From the Bay of Fundy to the Canadian Atlantic Coast
In Canada's Atlantic Region, the train is simply the best way to discover some of the country's most interesting communities nestled in between storybook lands and seascapes.
The province of New Brunswick, bordering the province of Québec, is the first to be crossed by the Ocean when you travel eastward. Discover the town of Campbellton - famed for its salmon fishing. The Acadian Coastal Drive offers you beaches with the warmest ocean waters north of Virginia. Take this opportunity to visit Moncton, the very first city in the country to be declared officially bilingual. Here, you can also visit the Acadian Museum, and learn more about the Acadian people of the region - the original roots of the American Cajun culture.
Travel further south to Nova Scotia and disembark at Halifax, the province's capital, and explore the streets of this maritime urban centre. Visit the Atlantic Maritime Museum and feel the culture that is so deeply rooted in the inhabitants.
To see even more of the Maritimes, hop aboard a bus and travel to Prince Edward Island from Nova Scotia. This little island is the smallest province of the country, but offers incredible glimpses into the Maritime lifestyle.
