Open in a dark bedroom. A woman turns on her bedside lamp, Sits up and looks at her husband expectantly. We see that she is pregnant. He gets out of bed, stumbles down the stairs and goes into the kitchen.

He turns on the light and sees a Service Canada agent holding out a bowl of ice cream with pickles on top. The guy takes the bowl, nods his thanks, turns and goes back upstairs.
