Deep in the glacier-formed Rockies, the town of Jasper lies in the heart of Jasper National Park, where you can walk in a quaint village surrounded by imposing mountains. Getting to and from Jasper is made very easy by the route of the Canadian, which connects to Vancouver in British Columbia to the west and tours Alberta and the Prairies, ending in Toronto in Ontario to the east. The Skeena also starts in Jasper, but travels through British Columbia to Prince Rupert.
