Travel Canada by region

Discover Ontario, home of Canada's capital

Between the Province of Québec and the Prairies you'll find Ontario, the most populous of the Canadian provinces.

You'll have places to go and... places to see !

The City of Toronto, the largest in the country and a major transportation hub in Canada, is connected by rail in every direction. What's more, the Toronto train station is located directly in the heart of downtown, so you'll have no trouble jumping into a full Toronto tourism experience ! Explore Queen Street West, Kensington Market, and the Annex, each with their trendy establishments. And let's not forget the famous CN tower, one of the tallest structures in the world, where you can rise 342 meters and look straight down through a glass floor !

Travel east from Toronto in the Québec City-Windsor corridor and tour Southwest Ontario to visit quaint towns and great vineyards. Visit Sarnia and London, the latter with its own little River Thames, then head down to one of the most famous natural landmarks in the world and take a Niagara Falls tour ! Visit the romantic town of Niagara for a weekend getaway and see the immense horseshoe falls that have fascinated people for years.

If you're looking for a more urban trip, ride up along the Ottawa River to the National Capital region, which includes Ottawa in Ontario and Gatineau in Québec. Here, not only will you find the Parliament buildings and a plethora of museums, galleries, shops and restaurants, but also a city bustling with activities and events. Almost as soon as you get out of the Ottawa train station, you can walk the busy streets of Byward Market and taste the fresh foods for sale, or take a stroll around Parliament Hill to see an incredible waterfront green space. In the winter, take the time to skate along the Rideau Canal - the longest outdoor skating rink in the world.
