Canadian Workshop on Bed Rest Studies
The Canadian Space Agency, the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP) and the CIHR Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (IMHA) invite the scientific and medical communities to participate in a unique event: the first Canadian workshop on bedrest studies. This informative workshop will focus on training methods to maintain musculoskeletal and cardiovascular function in weightlessness or simulated microgravity situations such as long-tern bedrest.

STS-122 Mission
STS-122 Space Shuttle Discovery launches to the ISS from pad 39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The flight will deliver the European Space Agency's Columbus Science Laboratory module together with the Canadian Space Agency's microgravity isolation research rack (MVIS).

RADARSAT-2 Launch
RADARSAT-2 is scheduled to be launched from Russia's Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on December 8, 2007 on a Soyuz vehicle.
