The place to chill out is at the Ice Hotel Quebec-Canada, located just outside of Quebec City. Each winter, the hotel is reconceived and constructed from scratch, using a lot of ice and snow. Fiber-optic ice chandeliers sparkle and fireplaces glow with heat-insulated panes, all to ensure that the hotel hovers around -2˚C (28˚F). To keep you warm and toasty, sub-zero sleeping bags (ideal for snuggling) are on hand as is plenty of vodka, the drink of choice at the ice lounge.
