Consuming shellfish that is contaminated or has
red tide (PSP) can cause serious illness or death.
Please check before you harvest.
Multiple Areas
Recreational and First Nations shellfish harvesters are advised that
Vibrio
parahaemolyticus (Vp) levels are currently extremely high in some areas. It is
strongly recommended that bivalves such as oysters and clams are not
consumed raw at least during the warm summer months. Listed on
