Clothing and textile series offers hands-on felt workshop at the Canadian Children's MuseumGatineau, Quebec, December 15, 2006 - From Tuesday, December 26 to Saturday December 30, the Canadian Children's Museum, located inside the Canadian Museum of Civilization, invites children to an exciting textile workshop on felt. The series on clothing and textile lets kids explore different fabrics and designs from around the world. In this hands-on workshop, children will be able to make their own felt using soap, water and coloured wool. Discover how this ancient textile is used and learn how it can keep you both warm and cool!
