Polar Continental Shelf Project (PCSP), Resolute Bay

Description

Three main buildings with forced air heating, water and electricity. Able to sleep 80 persons, 3 bay garage, large storage hangar, 3 dry labs, 4 reading rooms, recreation area, cafeteria style kitchen, laundry facilities.

March to September (Contact Polar Continental Shelf Project well in advance as dates vary slightly from one season to another.)

Rules and regulations

Field parties must report to PCSP by radio at least once a day.

There must be a minimum of 2 persons in each field party.

All parties are responsible for arranging all appropriate permits, licences, approvals; contact PCSP for a complete list of regulations.

Commercial scheduled airline flights to Resolute Bay.

Aircraft fuel available at Facility

Available from pumps operated by the Co-op; check ahead for commitments.

Polar Shelf has its own fuel available for caching.

Vehicle fuel available at facility
