2 Weather Haven structures, both with oil burner furnaces, each sleeps 2 (staff)

1 Bathing structure
1 Shed; constructed of 45 gallon drums and canvas.

Rules and regulations

NATIONAL PARKS ACT, REGULATIONS

Mandatory Registration and Orientation. No firearms. Pack in/pack out policy. Do not feed/disturb wildlife. No one is permitted within 1 km of wolf dens.

PLEASE check with Quttinirpaaq (Ellesmere Island) National Park Reserve for complete list of regulations.

Access to facility

Twin Otter and helicopter. Contact local air carriers for charters.

Aircraft fuel available at Facility

Both Parks Canada and Polar Continental Shelf Project maintain fuel caches at Tanquary Fiord for operational needs only, with the exception of emergencies.

Vehicle fuel available at facility

Parcs Canada maintient des caches à carburant au fjord Tanquary pour des besoins d'exploitation seulement et en cas d'urgence.

No equipment is available, a high level of self sufficiency is expected.
