Transport Canada’s mission is to develop and administer policies, regulations and services for the best transportation system for Canada and Canadians – one that is safe and secure, efficient, affordable, integrated and environmentally friendly. The department’s Atlantic Region is one of five regions mainly focused on delivering programs and services across Canada.

The Atlantic Region’s Structure and Organization outlines our structural organization. There are Transport Canada Centres (TCCs) in each of the four Atlantic Provinces to provide services to local stakeholders. The three major TCCs are situated in Moncton, Dartmouth and St. John’s.

An overview of Transport Canada’s activities in the Atlantic Region’s is available in the Atlantic Region Business Plan.
