Isumavut: The Artistic Expression of Nine Cape Dorset Women

This exquisite exhibition is a survey of the work of nine accomplished women artists from Cape Dorset, Nunavut: Pitseolak Ashoona, Lucy Qinnuayuak, Kenojuak Ashevak, Qaunak Mikkigak, Napachie Pootoogook, Pitaloosie Saila, Oopik Pitsiulak, Mayoreak Ashoona and Ovilu Tunnillie. This impressive group of sculptures, prints, and drawings produced from 1959 to the present depicts the ideas of each of these artists and their views of the problems of contemporary Inuit life.

92 works of art - 20 sculptures, 68 prints, 2 stone blocks and 2 drawings; a title panel and 9 free-standing biographical panels, including the artists' photos

Fee:
In Canada: Can$15,000 plus shipping, insurance costs, and costs for services of one CMC preparator for installation and dismantling.
