Grad student success

On April 10, 2007, NRC-INH celebrated another milestone. More importantly, it was a personal milestone for Charmaine Noonan who successfully completed her Master's defense requirements for her degree at the Universityof Prince Edward Island. 

Charmaine is a technical officer in my lab and is the first graduate student to complete a degree while training at NRC-INH.  The defense was difficult and she did a great job handling all the questions - which she does in any setting. She has done an excellent job in her research and developed some great assays to help us identify new anti-oxidants for Alzheimer's research.  

On behalf of everyone at NRC-INH I extend congratulations to Charmaine -- she has set the bar for our future "graduate student alumni."
