Using Your Account Online

The Library is using new software called Evergreen that puts our catalogue on the Web and gives patrons online access to renew books or place holds. With a new patron card you’ll be able to access your account and use online services like eLibraries Manitoba (audiobooks and ebooks) and EBSCOhost (online databases).

To search our catalogue or access your account please visit our Evergreen site. Use the Your Account link on that site to access your account (to change your password, contact info, etc.).

Please visit the Library to sign up for a new card if you don’t yet have one.

To download audiobooks or ebooks visit eLibraries Manitoba.

To access electronic magazines go to Zinio for Libraries. (Links for help pages and mobile apps are at the bottom of the page on the Zinio site.)

To access our selection of online databases login to EBSCOhost. See our subscription list for a list of the available databases.

Digital talking books for people with print disabilities are available from NNELS. If you have signed up for this service at the library, you can log in with your library card.

Interlibrary Loans

If you’re interested in borrowing books from other Manitoba public libraries and would like to search for them yourself you may use the Manitoba Public Libraries ILL management system (named fILL) (formerly called MAPLIN).

fILL is linked with our Evergreen system so your login (barcode and password) is the same on fILL as it is for eLibraries Manitoba or your account on Evergreen. Any requests you make will be sent to us to review and forward to the other library. If we’re unable to fill the request for some reason we will try to notify you.

Making Connections

As an integral part of our community since 1959, Boissevain & Morton Regional Library strives to connect our patrons with enjoyable reading, good information, interesting exhibits, and each other. We have a broad collection of fiction and non-fiction for all ages, as well as movies, reference material, and the Boissevain Community Archives. And, if you can’t find what you’re looking for within our walls we’re more than happy to request it from another library or help you find it on the Internet.
