• Does it cost anything?
  No. Registration and use of the Extranet is free.
• How long does it take?
  Registration is easy and only takes a few minutes. Once you have registered once, you will not have to register again.
• What information is on the Extranet?
  Information on the Extranet is specifically directed to a particular client group, for instance those involved in commercial fisheries. An example of information currently stored on the Extranet is commercial fishery management plans.
• Click on the Help link on the right-hand side of all of the form pages if you are not sure how to fill in the fields.

NEW USERS:

• If you have not visited this site before, you will have to register before you can access the services available. Click on the link "To Register".
• A minimum of personal information is required.

• If you are already registered, type in your Username. If you supplied an e-mail address on registration, your e-mail will be your Username. Then type in the password that you had selected. These are not case sensitive; that is, you may type them with all capital letters (MYLOGINNAME), or all lower case (myloginname) or a mixture (MyLoginname). Click on the "Login" button.
• Enhanced Security means you have to log in each time you visit this site. If you uncheck the box, information will be saved onto your computer, allowing you to go directly to the page you requested. Deleting all your cookies will result in your having to log in again.
• Have you forgotten your password?
  If you supplied an e-mail address, click in the link "To Retrieve Password" and your password will be sent to you at that address.
• Have you forgotten your password, but have not supplied an e-mail address?
  You will have to register again. Click on the link "To Register". Notice that your Username will be different after re-registering.

• Your First and Last names are required. If you do not supply an e-mail address, these 2 fields will be used to create a unique Username for your Extranet account.
• Check your preferred language. Please note that not all services are available in both official languages.
• An e-mail address is not mandatory. If you supply one, it will become your login Username, as it is unique. Also, if you forget your password, you will be able to have it sent to that e-mail address.
• Enter the password you would like to use. Pick one that will be easy for you to remember. It must be between 6 and 10 characters long, and contain only numbers and alpha-characters.
• To ensure that you typed in your desired Password without error, type it in again in the Verify Password field.
• The name and password fields are not case-sensitive. That is, you may type in with all capital letters (MYLASTNAME), or all lower case (mylastname) or a mixture (MyLastname).

• You may correct the spelling, or change your First or Last Name if desired. If you did not supply an e-mail address, your unique Login Username will change.
• You can add or change your e-mail address. This new entry will become your Login Username.
• You can change your Password at any time. First, enter your old password. No changes will be made unless this is entered correctly. Then enter your new password, and also repeat the new password to verify it.

• We must have your current e-mail address on record. Type in your e-mail address, and your password will be sent to that address in a few minutes.
• If you have not supplied an e-mail address, or if your current e-mail address is not stored in our records, you will have to Register once again. Go back, and click the link "To Register". Notice that your Login Username has changed.
