Important information for all service users

If you feel ill or have any symptoms of a respiratory virus (fever, cough or shortness of breath), please avoid coming into Sherbourne Health until you feel better and are symptom free.

All service users calling for appointments or coming to the centre will be screened for respiratory illness symptoms and travel from the areas affected by the coronavirus.

If a service user has the correct risk factors, the care team will make a decision about whether they need additional testing.

Sherbourne is monitoring the situation regarding the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). At this time, the Public Health Agency of Canada states that the risk to Canadians is low. Onsite groups and drop-ins cancelled until further notice

As a safety and precautionary measure all onsite community groups and drop-ins are cancelled until further notice. These groups include:

• Hep C Group
• Craving Change
• Getting Started
• Newcomers Cooking Together

Virtual groups currently running

Select virtual support groups are being offered for the following:

• SOY weekly community check-in group for LGBT2SQ youth; Contact soy@sherbourne.on.ca for more information.
• Mature Trans Sisters (MTS) virtual weekly support group; Contact transprograms@sherbourne.on.ca for more information.
