Report Provides "Snapshot" of Canada's Wild Species

The Wild Species series of reports, released every five years, provides a national "snapshot" of the ongoing changes to species populations across Canada. The recently released 2005 version of the report presents the results of general status assessments for over 7500 Canadian species.


 
Drinking water from the tap is treated in most cities and towns, to prevent naturally present waterborne diseases which are caused by bacteria, viruses or parasites.
