Go crazy for Korea
Gatineau, Quebec, August 22, 2007 — Korea’s too far away to visit in just one day, so why not do the next best thing? Join us on September 1 and 2 at the Canadian Children’s Museum for Let’s Go Korea, an imaginary trip to this exotic Asian country.
You’ll get to sample delicious rice cakes, then make and play with your own chegi, a traditional Korean shuttlecock similar to a hacky sack. You’ll also have a chance to keep the beat in a drum parade, and to master some tae kwon do moves — the martial art is Korea’s national sport.
Let’s Go Korea Saturday, September 1 and Sunday, September 2, 2007 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (bilingual) Canadian Children’s Museum Free with Museum admission (ca A proud supporter of Canadian Children’s Museum programming)
