A Chronology of Canadian Postal History
Postal communication has contributed to Canada's history in so many ways. The illustrated chronology presented here is intended as a reference tool that stimulates and informs. It looks at some of the key dates, people and events that have helped fashion our nation's rich and longstanding postal heritage, a heritage that dates back four or five hundred years.
