Write to Santa at the Canadian Postal MuseumGatineau, Quebec, November 22, 2006 - On Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3, children of all ages are invited to write a letter to Santa Claus at the Canadian Postal Museum, located in the Canadian Museum of Civilization. In medieval times, some people wrote messages on animal hides and sewed them together so they would not be lost. The whole construction was then sent to its intended recipient. Your letter will be sewn to those of the other participants to create a long, rolled parchment - the longest letter ever sent to Santa!
The Longest Letter to Santa Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3, 2006 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sorting and Technology Room Canadian Postal Museum Sponsored by Canada Post
