4. APPLICATION

4.6 Renewal

Although Board members are eligible for reappointment, other suitable candidates may also be considered for appointment. Renewals will be considered in accordance with the eligibility criteria.

Should an incumbent be invited to submit their candidacy for reappointment, the Minister's office or the respective Commissioner will ask the prospective candidate, upon confirming their interest to continue to serve, to provide an up-to-date curriculum vitae which should reflect any changes in circumstances since they provided the last curriculum vitae.

Renewal of an appointment will also depend upon whether the appeal volume at the Board Centre warrants reappointing the chairperson or Board member.
