Training Program for Employment Insurance Board of Referees

7. FOLLOW-UP

The Appeals Directorate will check to see whether initial information sessions for new members have in fact taken place within two months following their appointment. Where this requirement has not been met, the Director of Appeals shall ask for explanations from the Regional Director responsible for Boards of Referees.

As far as continuing information sessions are concerned, the Appeals Directorate will check to see whether a continuing information session has been held once a year for each Board of Referees Centre.
