Science and Technology

Germany is not only the largest economy in Europe and the third largest in the world, but it is also one of the world's most active and diversified markets for science and technology research and development. Over half of Germany's industrial production is accounted for by R&D-intensive industries.

1. The S&T team at the Embassy in Berlin offers such services as:

• provide timely and accurate market information and intelligence on German commercial opportunities and market developments
• identify business and R&D partnership opportunities to Canadian companies
• promote commercially promising strategic cooperation in science and technology with innovative German establishments
• assist in the organization of visits of federal and provincial delegations
• facilitate finding market opportunities for innovative Canadian products
• promote awareness of Canadian S&T capabilities
