Acquisition and Compensation Operations

Various services are provided to clients throughout the Ontario Region. Acquistion Services includes contracting for goods and services, real property contracting and assets disposal services. Compensation provides complete pay processing services and systems to federal government departments and agencies in Ontario region.

Acquisitions, in addition to its core activities, carries out both client and supplier promotion programs, such as workshops, training sessions and demonstrations. Compensation In addition to its core activities, designs and delivers compensation training and provides advisory services to its clients.

Audit Services Canada 

Audit Services Canada (ASC) operates under the authority of a $30 million Revolving Fund and delivers its services in a commercially-oriented and businesslike manner.

The mission of ASC is to provide a leading contribution to the improvement of public sector management accountability and operations in Canada and abroad through the provision of professional audit, assurance, and audit-related services to the to public sector managers across Canada. While it predominantly serves the federal government community, its services are available to other levels of government and certain international organizations such as the World Bank, upon request.

Information Technology Services

Information Technology Services (ITS) is the common service agent for information technology infrastructure to more than a hundred departments and agencies in the federal government.

Office of Small and Medium Enterprises

The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME), established within Public Works and Government Services Canada, supports the Government of Canada's commitment to ensure that government procurement is accountable, cost effective and responsive.  The Ontario Region Office has the mission to help ensure that Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) have an opportunity to compete for government business.

Real Property Services

Real Property Services (RPS) in Ontario Region supports the national vision of a client-centred organization which includes a clear integration of products and services; access to one-stop shopping for clients; elimination of duplication; and consistency in service delivery.

Translation Bureau

The mission of the Translation Bureau is to support the Government of Canada in its efforts to provide services to and inform Canadians in the official language of their choice. We offer a complete, integrated range of language solutions and quality services in Canada's official languages and in more than 100 Aboriginal and foreign languages, on an optional and full cost-recovery basis. The Translation Bureau's Ontario Regional Unit provides these services for about 30 client departments located in Ontario Region and across Canada.
