<p align="CENTER"><font size="+1"><strong>PARADIS VISITS LIBYA AND MOROCCO</strong></font></p>
<p>Denis Paradis, Secretary of State for Latin America, Africa and La Francophonie, today announced that he is visiting Libya
and Morocco from September 1 to 6. In both countries, Mr. Paradis will meet with government counterparts to discuss
bilateral issues.</p>
<p>While in Morocco, the Secretary of State will be attending the Conférence Ministérielle de la Francophonie sur la Societé
de l'Information [Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie on the Information Society]. The conference will prepare La
Francophonie and its member governments for the World Summit on the Information Society to be held in Geneva, from
December 10 to 12, 2003. The conference also presents an opportunity for La Francophonie to share its ideas with the
world as the information society is being defined.</p>
