Export Control List 2006
Changes and Corrections
On February 22, 2007, the Government of Canada concluded the regulatory
process to amend the Export Control List. This regulation brings
into effect the June 2006 version of the Government of Canada’s
“A Guide to Export Controls”. This regulation includes a number
of additions, deletions, and clarifications to the controls relating to
the exportation of various goods and technologies. A brief overview of
the key changes to the goods and technologies affected by this amendment

Additions of controls
- dimensional inspection or measuring systems and equipment (1-2.B),
- jamming equipment (1-5.A),
- quantum cryptography (1-5.A),
- underwater electric field sensors (1-6.A),
- equipment designed for use with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (1-9.A),
- equipment designed for the production of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
(1-9.B),
- software designed for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (1-9.D),
- 10-chloro-5,10-dihydrophenarsazine (2-7),
- N-nonanoylmorpholine (2-7),
- laser production equipment (2-17),
- liquid propellant tanks (6-3.A),
- fuel substances (hydrazine nitrate and other hydrazine derivatives)
(6-4.C),
- laser protection equipment for eyes and sensors (2-17),

with the Public Works and Government Services Canada’s (PWGSC) Controlled
