Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 11 of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act, hereby assigns the Honourable Mauril Bélanger, a Minister of State to be styled Deputy Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, to assist the Prime Minister in the carrying out of the Prime Minister's responsibilities.
