CANADA MORTGAGE AND HOUSING CORPORATION ACT FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the definition "Minister" in section 2 of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Act, pursuant to paragraph (d) of the definition "appropriate Minister" in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act and pursuant to subparagraph (a)(ii) of the definition "appropriate Minister" in subsection 83(1) of that Act, hereby

(a) revokes Order in Council P.C. 2002-1317 of August 6, 2002 (see footnote a) ;

(b) designates the Minister of the Environment, a member of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada, as the appropriate Minister for the purposes of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Act; and

(c) designates the Minister of the Environment, a member of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada, as the appropriate Minister with respect to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act,

effective December 12, 2003.
