PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT ACT

Transfer of the Customs Services Regulations

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 36(1)(b) of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby makes the annexed Transfer of the Customs Services Regulations.

TRANSFER OF THE CUSTOMS SERVICES REGULATIONS

BLOCK TRANSFER

1. Subsections 37.3(1) and (2) of the Public Service Employment Act apply to all persons employed or engaged in the following portions of the Public Service within the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency:

(a) the Customs Branch;

(b) the Customs Operations Division of the Investigations Directorate of the Compliance Programs Branch;

(c) the Customs Appeal Directorate of the Appeals Branch; and

(d) that portion within each of the Agency's regional divisions responsible for the administration of the Customs program, other than the portions of those regional divisions that relate to collections.

COMING INTO FORCE

2. These Regulations come into force on December 12, 2003.
