Expenditure Review (TBS Corporate Efficiencies)

In December 2003, as part of a series of initiatives designed to strengthen the government's financial management and accountability, the Prime Minister established the Expenditure Review Committee to ensure the government spends smarter. Departments and agencies, including the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS), have been asked to work toward this goal. For TBS, savings will be achieved through corporate efficiencies.
